  • This is a varied role which stemmed from using the Workaway website. I was initially staying for a two month period however I have now been at Le Moulin Bregeon for six months undertaking a variety of tasks from creating desserts for dinner service; managing the social media pages and website; organising new volunteers through Workaway along with the work they will be required to complete when staying at the hotel; budgeting costs; and styling the hotel for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  • In the interim of Chatsworth appointing a new Events Coordinator I worked part time to assist the Head of Visitor Services and Marketing with the administration of events. Duties for this position included; dealing with initial enquiries and administration for events; negotiating with suppliers and ordering equipment; producing briefing notes and memos for all events; producing schedules of work for event set up and breakdown; assisting with organisation of staff for events; liaising with the Head of Visitor Services and Marketing and Head of Operations on the operational needs of public, corporate, charitable and private events in Chatsworth House, Garden and Park. The main project during my time in this role was preparing and overseeing the operation of the summer concerts at Chatsworth, the first being a sell out 4,000 capacity Jools Holland concert of which I ran on the day.

  • - Responding to, logging and filing of general enquiries from the website and visitor comment forms. - Monitoring of Chatsworth's social media channels and coordinating the timing and creation of content across departments. - Draft and distribute the weekly internal newsletter. - Assisting with proofing of Chatsworth's marketing literature and coordinating amends. - Manage the press clippings platform and pull off monthly reports. - Respond to media requests for images. - Keep the Media Centre on the website up-to-date with press releases and images. - Support with administration and chaperoning of filming and photography projects. - To provide support for the marketing team at key events and press calls.

  • This role is as and when I am needed which can be during busy periods, such as when filming is taking place at Chatsworth and covering holiday/sick leave. By supporting the team I manage and respond to all the general enquiries that come through via the Chatsworth website and reply to all comment cards and feedback forms where necessary. Also if needed, I will help with creating the weekly newsletter, social media and image requests. As well as this I work with the team chaperoning film cast and crew whilst filming takes place, ensuring the safety and protection of the house and collections.

  • Working on a voluntary basis alongside the Events Coordinator at Chatsworth I will be helping in all planning stages of events held on the Chatsworth Estate from charity runs/walks/rides to some of the larger events such as the Christmas Markets and Horse Trials. The role involves an array of duties, some being: - Writing and sending out event memos to relevant staff - Aiding the Events Coordinator from initial planning to being there on the day of event - Working on events contracts, in particular for charity events - Administrative work - Planning tasks for the coming year to make sure documents are complete in good time - Creating spreadsheets and word documents to keep track of every planning stage of various events - Coming up with new and inventive ideas alongside the Events Coordinator
