    I was hired as a freelance designer to facilitate the creation of a new luxury active wear brand by Tatiana Kovylina. Key Responsibilities: - Initial research and competitor research, as well as advising on brand market placement - Designing the collection in line with Tatiana’s vision for the brand - Presenting developments during range reviews and creating range plans - Material and trim sourcing as well as development of such - Creating all CADS in Adobe illustrator - Produce full tech packs, including BOMS, with all technical information and measurements for communication with the manufacturers - Communication with manufacturers and negotiating initial contracts.

    I began working at Monreal London as freelance designer in November 2013. I was then employed as assistant designer in April 2014 and consequently promoted to product developer in April 2015. Due to team structure and my leading role I regularly oversaw the junior design team as well as the production coordinator and freelancers. Key Responsibilities: - Managing trim and fabric development, as well as counter sourcing of materials - Colour matching trims and fabrics from development to production - Responsible for creating all CADS and specs for the main collections as well as accessories - Overseeing print and surface application developments and placements - Managing seasonal range plans - Creating and managing the commercial and technical sheet database and fabric reference library - Creation of full tech packs, including BOMS, all technical information, measurements and comments - Generating care label artworks including content, in line with government and export regulations - Implementing and policing the critical path across the design and product team - Running the lab testing as well as the report evaluation - Ordering materials and trims for both production and development - Placing sample Po’s and ensuring deadlines for samples and materials are met - Collect, analyse and negotiate prices for both Monreal product as well as raw materials - Negotiating stock holding agreements with suppliers and partners - Cultivating and maintaining prosperous business relationships with manufacturers and vendors - Creating competitive seasonal line sheets for the use of the sales team - Introducing an effective internship program to Monreal London
