  • Are you uncomfortable yet?
Are you uncomfortable yet?‘Are you uncomfortable yet?’ is a box designed to strike a nostalgic chord, containing several games and objects that aid in enhancing intimacy in your relationships and empathy for yourself through reflective activities. The box can be enjoyed alone or shared with friends, family or your romantic partner. The aim is to make this box your own and fill it with objects that you collect throughout your lifetime.

My degree in Sociology with Social Anthropology was an interdisciplinary study, meaning that I immersed myself in many different modes of thought. Sociology was at the cornerstone of my studies, allowing me to explore the social theories of economics and art. Psychoanalysis modules delved into Freudian and Jungian ideas and how they helped develop 20th century ideas around consumerism and marketing. The Anthropology side prompted a real consideration of the cultural repertoire of non-Western countries, and the centuries-long effects of the Enlightenment era (environmentally and socially). When put together, I was amazed at how all of these seemingly separate ideologies were so intertwined and had a domino effect that contributed to the system we are governed by today.
