About me
I’m a London-based, highly motivated and skilful creator with a determined work ethic, fed by my passion for my creative practice. I recently graduated from the University of the Arts London: Camberwell College of the Arts with a First Class (BA) Honours degree in Illustration, from which I have developed a strong artistic skill set in traditional and digital practices and I’m looking for an opportunity to develop my skills further and gain furhter experience in the creative industry.
I work across disciplines to create designs and visual communications, with a keen interest in advertising and production. My work is fuelled by fabulousness - in whatever form I determine that to be - with an underlying humorous tone and a constant aim to make the viewer laugh.
You can read my dissertation, ‘So Many Men, So Little Time’ An Exploration Into The Liberation of Women and The Gay Community Through The Lens of The Disco Movement in The 1970s - 1980s, at the Lesbian and Gay Newsmedia Archive @ Bishopsgate Institute where it has been catalogued.

- Chiquen Tikka, Tell Me What's Wronghttps://maddiestringer.com/work/chiquen-tikka-tell-me-whats-wrong I developed the branding, packaging and advertising campaign, inspired by ABBA's music videos and retro TV adverts, for the speculative product (a vegan microwave meal) with the goal to glamourise something inherently unglamorous - blending together ABBA and microwave meals to make even the most mundane attribute, as fabulous as possible! In this, I directed, shot and edited an editorial style photoshoot and filmed a music video

Working in a team as a sales assistant allowed me to strengthen my teamwork skills, with excellent communication with in the store and across nation-wide branches. I worked on menswear, womenswear, 'phormal' and in the stockroom so I have experience with helping customers with a whole range of needs and high end experience of navigating the needs of the shop floor of a premium brand, as well as dealing with deliveries, stocktake and start/end of day replenishments.
