About me
I have a good Attention-to-detail, am well organisation, hard-working, reliable, quietly determined, tenacious, a team player, self-motivated and punctual. I have advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and am experienced user of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop also some knowledge of Google Sketch Up and Dreamweaver. My interests include, TV Series, film, reading and fashion. After graduating, I travelled across Europe inter-railing for 2 months, exploring the Capital cities, observing different architectures and cultures visiting many landmarks to enhance my creative thirst and developing my knowledge of there history. When at Loughborough we were given a range of different design projects, I enjoyed working on the editorial, UX/UI and branding projects. I found it rewarding going through the design process and seeing the ideas and designs come together to form a final digital outcome.
Projects
  • Manhattan Fairytale
Manhattan FairytaleThe Brief: Being a designer working on any large, collaboration project, is hard work. The designing is hard, the scale of the project is hard, the collaboration with other designers is really hard. The keys to the successful conclusion of a large project are organisation and communication. There attributes will be specifically assessed when marking the project. Your task is to design a pair of double-page spreads that will form part of a larger document that will be produced, with one full copy being manufactured for each contributor to the book. (We are looking at a mass production process here). You will each be asked to design a pair of double-page spreads (DPS) that tell (and carry) one of the Grimms Fairytales. The design should tell the story as a modern Manhattan Fairytale. The first DPS is to be a photo-spread with type and headlines, the second DPS will be mainly type (though you can add 'box-outs' and 'Spot Illustrations' if it helps the design.)
  • BLOTBOX
BLOTBOXThe Brief What: To brand and create an app for people who watch popular TV and want to block social media coverage of the TV shows. This brand needs to contain the TV and the communication aspects of the app and appeal to the target market. The app needs to be easy to use and to show each different section of the app and examples of each page. Why: The brand is needed so that the app can be used and be recogniasbale when seen on a phone screen. Also the type needs to be legible and be used within the logo and within the app. So that the target market who don't want their favourite shows to be spoiled but still want to keep up to date with social media, they can block their shows from their news feed. Also to track shows so they are notified when the next show is on and to communicate with their friends about their favourite programmes. Who: For young adults and teenagers that watch TV a lot and follow a lot of programmes. It also is for social media users who are fed up of other people ruining their favourite TV programmes without having to unfriend/unfollow their friends.

Ec2i works in catalogue production, photography & print industry, producing high-quality work for clients across the fashion, retail, travel and publishing sectors. When working at ec2i I got to help with live projects by using Photoshop to edit photography from the studio. I would use my Photoshop knowledge to delete the background and enhance images to a high quality standard for the clients. I also packaged catalogue pages on InDesign and would help file the images on to the company database.
