I am millennial women living and working in London, interested in expanding my knowledge of social media. I have experience in retail marketing, agency/client based work and have dabbled in freelance for a fashion magazine. I don't currently have a website, but do have a portfolio available on request.
Although my time at Inkling was short, I learnt a great deal about the importance of PR in connection to social media and expanded my knowledge of paid Facebook campaigns. My role included planning and implementing daily, weekly and monthly social media goals, working alongside clients to achieve the best results and reporting on campaign outcomes. I was given the opportunity to pitch new ideas to clients, set upcoming budgets for projects and organise photoshoots to produce content.
Key responsibilities in this role included managing and developing the Social Media Executive, using analytics to develop the brand’s social media strategy and aligning it with the content strategy, staying up-to-date with the algorithm changes across different social media platforms, launching the brand’s paid social campaigns. This role has been a brilliant challenge for me as I have been able to develop my skills further and understand how social media impacts brand value and increases sales.
During this role, I was instrumental in helping to establish the brand’s tone of voice and ensure it was customised based on the social media platform. The main channels I worked across were Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest and Snapchat. My main achievements in this role was growing our followers across the main social platforms to 52.6k and launching the brand’s Snapchat channel.
