To additional waitressing within the restaurant, I was selected to manage all the businesses social media pages on a daily basis. This includes promoting upcoming events to ensure maximum attendance, introducing new brands and products using photographic images and regular updates on offers and promotions within the store and restaurants. This opportunity has enabled me to develop my digital marketing skills using various aspects of social media.
I was selected as brand ambassador within Gloucestershire University to promote an upcoming Apple App, RefMe. The job role consisted of promoting the tool to students using social media, competitions and campaigns. Additionally, I responsible for encouraging other students promoting the tool to reach their targets, requiring me to display leadership skills throughout the campaign. I achieved a place within the top 3 most successful Brand Ambassadors for the launch of the App out of 45 University Ambassadors across the UK. I exceeded my targets throughout the campaign, whilst also completing the final year of my degree.
My job role at BAM Agency entailed delivering student marketing campaigns for various brands throughout Universities within the UK. During the campaigns I represented each brand in a professional manner, where my hard work and commitment during the job role ensured that clients achieved the best possible results from the campaigns.
I represented Superdry as a Student Brand Ambassador during the final year of my degree. During the 4 week period of the campaign my job role consisted of using social media and other promotional activities to encourage students’ relationships with Superdry
Glamourpuss / Blue & Blue are the two busiest nights within the student nightlife within Cheltenham. My job role consisted of working alongside the manager to organise and host the weekly student nights, whilst also promoting them throughout the week. Additionally, my job role involved hosting the VIP area and overseeing VIP attendees and artists.
I assisted the owner and manager in pre-season forward ordering of stock within a retail surf business, this involved using my experience based on previous sales and future trends to assist with the buying process. Developing relationships with the stores current brands, including Volcom, Animal, O’Neill and Vans, whilst also sourcing future brands and niche products, has equip me with exceptional interpersonal skills, whilst enabling me to develop my creative eye whilst demonstrating excellent decision making skills. My other responsibilities included organising the rota and overseeing staff members. This has given me the opportunity to build on my management abilities within a workplace.
