I am an experienced creative with an interest in youth culture, fashion, art, beauty and music that has a track record in developing editorial, video content, events and branded partnerships. In 2015 I edited both Prote.in and the Protein Journal print magazine, while working with clients including Microsoft, Absolut, Puma, Sonos, Jameson and Timberland. In 2016 I launched TREMORS, a new tv channel, creating a 3D video campaign for Walter van Beirendonck x FakbyFak, which reached 120k + impressions. In tandem I art directed a hologram installation for fashion label Hanger, as well as mix promos, art films, music videos and straight up interviews – winning press in Hunger, Sleek, Nero Journal and Fucking Young! In my current role at The Future Laboratory, I track fashion, advertising and media trends, with a specific focus on youth culture, regularly presenting keynotes and advising clients on strategy. : I created Tremors, a new global channel for arts, music and ideas. : I commision leading new media artists, such as Claudia Maté, Eva Papamargariti and Jennifer Mehigan, to create viral films, which reach audiences of up to 25k on Facebook. : I work on branded content, such as a social media campaign for Walter van Biernedonck x FakbyFak, and immersive launch party, featuring holograms and set design, for Hanger Inc. : I create video interviews showcasing upcoming London talent, including fashion stylist IB Kamara, Ditto Press founder Ben Freeman, and Hate Zine editor Luisa Le Voguer Couyet. : The print edition of the platform (2012-2014) was featured on Dazed, It’s Nice That, Protein, Monocle Radio and Guardian Cities. : The magazine included interviews with architectural historian Jonathan Meades, artist Mariko Mori, photographer Thomas Demand, alongside special features, such as a Global Survey of Outsider Architecture.
: I am the lead expert on youth culture and fashion for LS:N Global, the trend forecasting division of The Future Laboratory, one of the world’s most respected futures consultancies. : I unpack global consumer trends for LS:N Global subscribers, such as LVMH, the BBC, Condé Nast, Nike and VF Corporation, be it through editorial content or presentations. : I regularly comment on key cultural shifts for the Guardian, Vogue, Sunday Times, GQ Italia, ShowStudio, Creative Review, Elle and CNBC. : I research, commission and edit daily news, markets and show pieces, working with freelance contributors to cover key industry events – including Frieze, Design Miami and SXSW. : I film interviews with industry experts like Sharmadean Reid, founder of WAH Nails, Landis Smithers, creative director of Grinder, and Jeanne-Salomé Rochat, editor of Novembre magazine. : I produce social media coverage of shows, including Facebook livestreams, Facebook video stories, Instagram Stories and Twitter posts. : I write macrotrends, such as Gen Viz, an in-depth study of Generation Z’s consumer behaviour for the next three to five years, as well as microtrends and thought-leader pieces.
: I worked across Protein Journal and Prote.in to showcase the future of fashion, technology, food, music and culture. : I secured interviews with SHOWstudio founder Nick Knight, musician Holly Herndon, fashion designer Iris Van Herpen and artist Ed Atkins. : I worked on branded publishing projects, such as the Sonos Studios zine, Puma Selects magazine, and Microsoft’s Nine To Five newspaper. : I collaborated extensively with design, social-media, digital products and video production teams to formulate and deliver Protein’s editorial strategy, leading to the relaunch of Prote.in. : I commisioned, wrote and edited Protein’s annual trend book, in-depth insight reports, tribes features, breaking news pieces, and organised monthly forums with guest speakers.
