I am an aspiring filmmaker, graduating this summer from the University of Southampton with BA Film and English. I am currently looking for any type of work or volunteering in filmmaking, as I would like to build my experience. I have a passion for writing for film, which was practiced in a full year university module. I have a romantic comedy feature film screenplay, which I am now editing, and have written other shorts. I have experience in art direction, camera operation and editing as well.
I am currently working in retail, the Levi's store, as a stylist. In a short amount of time I have taken on many responsibilities and learnt many areas in retail, such as visual merchandising. I always volunteer to go on various trainings around the country and take on roles that go beyond what is expected of me. For example, I learnt how to use the sewing machine so that I could become the new tailor in our store. I have worked closely with management, can be trusted with multitasking and high responsibilities and am very reliable. My communication skills and work ethic has been built during my time at Levi's.
• Providing great and personal customer service, dealing tactfully with customer concerns, and creating a positive and friendly atmosphere for the customers • Maintaining standards during sale time and re-planning to make the store as presentable and neat as possible • Being flexible and reliable by working overtime whenever needed, always bringing high energy to the workplace • Being a strong team member to complete tasks within deadlines, following instructions while also using my own initiative to tackle difficult situations.
