Responsible for designing and maintaining new brand identities under the LA Micro Group company - Bytestock, Yello, LA Direct Solutions, RCB Group (to be launched) and Cloudrack. Designing and maintaining websites for yello, LA Direct Solutions, RCB Group and Cloudrack. Preparing and presenting concepts for each of the brands in the first stages of the design process to directors and make amendments for next revision presentation until a concept is chosen. Within 3 months of starting my role I brought forward the estimated launch date of ‘Yello’ by four months. This entailed finalising brand assets along with basic website design and social media illustrative content. Due to this, each of the remaining identities in the pipeline could be focussed on more, saving time and money. Replacing design of each of the company’s email marketing. Since designing the new visual templates, there has been an increase in CTR on email campaigns which have led to an increase in customer sales and engagement. Copywriting cornerstone content for the drive of audience traffic towards the companies. Photographing company employees head-shots for use on company documents. Video recording and editing members of staff for company videos for social media engagement and company awareness. Editing company videos for promotion on social media - LinkedIn, Twitter and Youtube. Creating motion graphics using the Adobe suite for increased engagement on social media. Designing exhibition stalls for Data Centre World for Bytestock and LA Direct Solutions. Putting in place a platform for task delegation to improve on the marketing departments team efficiency. Made changes to the old LA Micro identity in a subtle manner to improve brand recognition for a few months before the company re-brand transition into RCB Group. Correcting inconsistencies in the Bytestock brand colour assets which were handed over from an outside design agency. These were corrected and adapted to a more vibrant tones that suited Bytestocks visual identity. Preparing promotional content for the launch of the Bytestock and Yello brands such as packaging designs for Bytestock’s beer campaign. My role was to design the livery on the packaging, tape and the beer label. Providing design material for social media accounts across all brands. Re-design existing business material for each of the companies to bring them up-to-date with new brand styling. Designing company livery for outdoor & indoor signage. Company van livery design for yello. Uniform design for each of the brands for staff and technicians. Illustrations tailored for each of the brands. Collaborating and formulating ideas for customer incentive programmes/campaigns along with creating design material.
Designing and presenting an interactive e-brochure allowing for easier and professional communication between Elite Drummers and client. Recording and analysing social media analytics to better understand the market to then design accordingly. Contributed and liaised with the design and layout of ‘Elite Drummers’ website (www.elitedrummers.com). Co-ordinated art direction with videographers and photographers to better integrate marketing material between all creative fields and applications. Design and updating business cards each time stock runs low with current design influences. Sketch and vector illustrative caricatures which represent each member as a marketing strategy. This worked well and brought in interest and also turned into future bookings. Mock-up designs for branded apparel such as t-shirts and sweatshirts for public recognition. Put together marketing material for the launch of ‘Elite Drummers Academy’. This included material such as flyers, newspaper adverts, academy syllabus with folders, academy t-shirts, roll-up banners and stickers. Along with these, material to post on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. Since the start of the marketing campaign, 'Elite Drummers' has been successful and has gained over 1500 followers, which in turn has led to a daily bookings post campaign. This success has allowed them to start drumming classes for the public, gaining 2-3 new students each week.
Worked under the alias of Studio Phi (www.facebook.com/StudioPhiGraphics) where I offered a range of services through branding. Successfully created 5 fonts that are now available online to purchase. Brand start-up companies through a full design package - logo, business cards and advertising material for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube).
Debriefing new and existing clients on upcoming branding projects through either face-to-face meetings or by email to get a better understanding of what the projects’ targets are. Research what current competitors are doing and have done within the same market to target the right audiences accordingly. Brainstorming, sketching and wire-framing a series of potential designs after doing market research. I would then send these out to client for feedback. Making material for the pitch. These would include style-boards that would contain various mock-ups that help sell the design.
