About me
Communication officer and experienced journalist, I have exercised roles of media relations in a multilingual work environment, featuring social media, community management and content production. Perfectly adapted to the media sector with strong background in press, radio, TV and digital, I've been a globetrotter for the last couple of years, living in different countries, developing my skills in different contexts and getting involved in long-range projects. At events, I've been responsible for the co-production of conferences, festivals and theme fairs during my professional career.

  • Rock Rola em Barcelos
    Rock Rola em BarcelosMy personal entrepreneurial project that goes by the name of "Rock Rola in Barcelos", accomplished a common dream of a working group of people to create an independent newspaper in both formats (paper and web), reporting the cultural activity of my hometown. With repercussion on web platforms and social networks, "Rock Rola" was my first big experience managing an informative journal on social networks and later in paper. It was also my great cultural achievement in the creative design process for an independent newspaper, regarding several positions as editor and publisher among others.

    Full time collaboration in the digital magazine "Wall Street International Magazine" - multilingual media outlet of news articles. Presents itself as an alternative project of communication, providing a steady stream of updated reports and articles, covering a wide range of categories and real-time stories for enthusiastic readers and political players. In the communication team, I lead the social media strategy and the online marketing in our broadcast channels, according with the magazine's identity, audience and goals. Working closely with the authors, external partners and editorial team to develop and propose strategic improvements. I set promotional campaigns, contests and advertising in order to implement the magazine in the several platforms where we run content and agenda. Cumulatively, I also take responsibilities as Portuguese editor in the proofreading, image processing and community follow-up.

    ERA Professional traineeship in the communications department of an EU's institution. The European Railway Agency has been established to provide the EU Member States and the Commission with technical assistance in the fields of railway safety and interoperability. This involves the development and implementation of Technical Specifications for Interoperability and a common approach to questions concerning railway safety. At ERA, I was directly involved in the organization of two important events for the institution - EU Railway Conference and celebration of the tenth anniversary of the agency - being responsible for multimedia production (video and image) and press office, in addition to community management in o its communication channels.
