Hi! I am a freelance Film Director, Editor, Writer and Motion Designer.
In my broadcast career I have worked with some of the UK's leading broadcasters and broadcast design agencies (English&Pockett, RedBee, Lambie-Nairn, Discovery UK, ITV, UKTV, VIACOM and the BBC).
My short comedy film ‘We Are What We Drink’ made the official selection at the 54th London Film Festival 2010. It played at festivals around the world picking up multiple nominations and awards along the way. It was also ‘Long-Listed’ to the final 15 in voting for the BAFTA for Best Short Film of 2011.
I founded Luckycoin Films in 2011 through which I am producing further short films, music videos and developing comedy-drama television pilots and feature film scripts.
Luckycoin Films co-produced (and I directed) the short drama 'Mother', starring Miriam Margolyes. I also work as VFX Supervisor on the feature film 'Blue Iguana' for UK Film Studio Productions.
Most recently my documentary film 'The Chewing Gum Man: A Portrait of the Artist Ben Wilson' was acquired by Sky and received it's broadcast premiere on Sky Arts.
If you have films or motion ideas you need bringing to life, then give me a shout. I can work from concept and script through to edit, final grade and devilery.

- We Are What We Drink (2011)'We Are What We Drink' was funded through Film London's 'Best of Boroughs' film scheme and made official selection for the 54th BFI London Film Festival in 2010. Starring Ken Collard (Cuckoo, Zapped, Detectorists) and Sarah Hoare (Powder Room, Black Mirror, Chewing Gum), the film went on to have a strong international festival run and was long-listed for the BAFTA Award for Best Short Film in 2011.
- Mother (2015)A short film I directed starring (and written by) the very talented Jumaan Short and the fantastic Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter, Age Of Innocence, Romeo and Juliet). The film went on to have a successful festival run, picking up awards for Best Short Film at the London City Film Awards, Best Actress (Miriam Margolyes), Best Screenplay and Best Director at the Fisheye Film Festival, and the Audience Choice Award at the Women's Voices Now Film Festival.
- "Not Black and White" BBC World NewsThis is a promo I designed and animated for BBC News through BBC Creative. I was given a lot of free-reign on this one and it was great fun to work on. It gave me a chance to be quite playful with the animation despite the graveness of the subjects we are alluding to. This contrast struck a challenging, yet very interesting, balance. This promo won Silver at the 2019 PROMAX Awards.
