About me
Marc is a London based, New Zealand born, award winning Director and Cinematographer. As a Cinematographer, Marc has lensed Grammy and BIFA nominated, Cannes, UKMVA, and NME Award winning films, worked with Directors Edgar Wright, Taika Waititi, Shane Meadows, Adam Smith and Stephen Kang, has shot performance videos for the bands of both Jim Jarmusch and Terry Zwigoff, as well as for artists such as Iggy & The Stooges, Sonic Youth, Bailterspace, The Chemical Brothers, Sparks, Neil & Liam Finn, The Datsuns, Eagles of Death Metal, Love & Arthur Lee, The Libertines, Portishead, Nick Cave/Grinderman, Interpol, Robert Crumb, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Black Keys. Marc is also a Saatchi and Saatchi Cannes New Directors selection, who has made channel promos, commercials and content for Visa, McDonalds, Bacardi, Wallpaper Magazine, MTV and Comedy Central. Marc has also directed series for MTV Europe and Channel 4, as well as directing for X Factor Australia. His short films have been selected for the Clermont Ferrand, Rotterdam, Berlin, Ostia and Video Brasil festivals, amongst others. Marc is an Accredited member of British Film Editors (BFE), a committee member of both the International Federation of Cinematographers (IMAGO) and the New Zealand Cinematography Society (NZCS), and member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS).

    Managed a team of promo producers in delivering on-air promotions for MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central. Responsible for creative approval for print, radio, and internet promo and develop strategies with marketing and production. A major part of the role was to create and craft the on air look, and to launch Comedy Central New Zealand in April 2009.
