In the realm of media, Maria strives to carve a niche as a versatile professional with a keen eye for aesthetics, blending expertise in creative communications, writing, analytical research, artistic curation, and digital direction. With a foundation in Journalism and Communications from Central Saint Martins, Maria has worked within a landscape primarily focused on luxury, creative, and niche/independent brands. Her portfolio includes published written work, freelance projects, managerial roles and collaborative ones, showcasing a proficiency in technology, design, and cultural trends.
Maria's passion for knowledge spans a wide spectrum, from classics to contemporary art, reflecting a critical methodology and creative flair.
Throughout her budding career, she has collaborated, partnered and engaged with industry names including The Royal Opera House, Dior, Cartier, Dazed Magazine, and Vodafone, also participating in London Fashion Week. Her academic background and hands-on experiences have cultivated her approach to communications and creative expression.
Prior to professional endeavours, she spent former years spearheading creative endeavours for her school, local youth group and within a personal capacity; performing local live events and small-scale orchestras (violin grade 4, bass guitar grade 2) and studying French and Spanish to an intermediate reading proficiency.

- Dior Cruise Show 2025 x ODDA MagazineAs an Editor for ODDA Magazine, I covered the Dior Cruise Show 2025 which took place at Scotland’s Drummond Castle. I spoke to Grazia Chiuri's team at the Christian Dior Couture House who were the great minds that made the show happen and interviewed some of the wonderful artisans who gave it life. We explored everything from Mary Queen of Scots' love for embroidery, the symbolism of topiary in couture, to the role of lochs and landscapes in fabric design. Both Margaret Macleod @harristweedheb
