I am creative and driven individual with copious amounts of valuable work experience and skills, proven experience includes; writing copy for both online and print magazines, the ability to work as an individual and in a team. I have previously had two of my stage plays produced in both London and Bristol, one of which was then requested for a new writing festival. A creative mind is an imaginative mind and I think the hardest but best thing about being imaginative is having the ability to portray the thoughts in your head, with an articulate and interesting delivery. Although I do a lot of creative and fictional writing, I also have a keen interest in proofreading and editing. Being bold and imaginative comes easily to me, as I like to challenge not only my readers and colleagues but also myself, in order to be better. Having grown up in the hype of social media I would say I am a social media savvy, I use various forms for personal and professional use. I have also had experience with cameras from my assistant director role in Australia, where I worked on an emotive documentary ‘Ray of Light’. Having been a full time creative student at The BRIT School from 16 to becoming a First Class graduate in Drama with Creative Writing I believe I have the ability to liaise with and understand an array of people with confidence and clarity. I have also learnt to be expressive, unique and adaptable. Having recently returned from travelling Australia and SE Asia for two years I was lucky enough to not only gain life experience but I also had the opportunity to work on farms, nanny, start my own blog, work in small outback pubs and at festivals. My most recent job role was at Carriages Boutique Hotel & Vineyard. Having gone into the role with no knowledge of the industry I learnt how to assist in running a small business. This includes, finances and databases, schedules, rotas, meetings with winemakers, excellent communication with guests and staff, having exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task as I would often have to nanny two children alongside running the hotel.
