“I always believed that style is an integrated element in one’s personality. Everyone can support a certain style or create their own according to their origin, way of life, inspirations and beliefs. Style defines someone at first glance, creates an impression. A stylist is able to detect the products, interpret them, combine and coordinate them successfully to create a style and transmit a preconceived message, involves focus and thorough understanding of intent. According to my Art teacher, I am the kind of person who takes something from rubbish and turns it into something useful. I consider myself imaginative and creative in matching colors, shapes and concepts in order to produce a coordinated image. Being observant, intuitive and updated on the fashion trends, I focus on my target wholeheartedly and enjoy experimenting with new materials and designs by transforming the clothes into new shapes.”
Marielena
Marielena Haralabaki is a freelance stylist and creative director. She was born in Athens (Greece) in 1996 and studied Fashion Styling at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. From June 2016 is the creative director of MYRA cosmetics. She has since made several look books such as HARA KARAMIHALI JEWELLERY, ceramic jewellery by DORA HARALABAKI, DIKO KAFTANS, STEFANIA FASHION A/W 2015 , S/S 2016 fashion show and contributed to a list of respected publications for editorials. On June 2017 her video "L'armonia del disarmonico - INITATION" was selected by MILANO FASHION FILM FESTIVAL.
