About me
I am a keen, young, motivated individual looking to gain experience and move forward in my career. I have currently graduated in BA (Hons) Commercial Photography. I specialise in advertising and still life editorial photography. I have a great understanding of technical skills together with conceptual ideas to create imagery for the photography industry. I have gained abilities in composition, lighting and post production while studying at university, assisting and doing freelance work.
I also acquired a greater knowledge about the industry of photography, copyright and image rights, contemporary photographers as well as historical, pictures libraries and agencies, which trained me to gain a detailed eye for photography. Throughout the course, I also developed advanced skills in Photoshop to prepare and enhance the quality and colours of images, as well as re-seizing and colour profiles.
I am very keen to gain first-hand experience and I am willing to undertake any tasks that are required. I am disciplined and hard working, with excellent organisational skills, enthusiastic and energetic person that loves working with both people and images.
Projects
- Processed FoodThis project addresses the subject of processed food as a symbol of globalisation and its damaging effects. Each image contains a traditional kitchen utensil typically used in the 19th and 20th century and a type of processed food. The images represent the juxtaposition of processed food and how they are placed in traditional kitchen utensils.
