Work history

Junior Graphic Designer

Jan 2014 - Jul 2014
  • Madrid, Spain
  • Internship
  • My role at this important online marketing company was to design websites, banners, newsletters, branding, etc. I was offered a long term position, but I had to refuse it when I was accepted for a six months Artist in Residence program in Sweden.

Art assistant

TravesíaCuatro Art Gallery

Jun 2010 - Aug 2010
  • Madrid, Spain
  • Full Time
  • During the first summer of my Bachelor degree, I worked as an art gallery assistant, getting familiar with the art industry, and acquiring invaluable organisational skills.

Graphics assistant

Jul 2008 - Aug 2008
  • Madrid, Spain
  • Full Time
  • At this important Spanish electric company, my role was to help to transcribe and represent data for the electricity encyclopaedia. This was a great chance to gain expertise with Microsoft Office tools and the first approach to design before being professionally prepared for it. Despite my young age (I was barely 16) I was celebrated as a hard worker and professional colleague.

Fine Arts Bachelor

Complutense University

Sep 2013
  • Madrid, Spain
  • This degree equipped me with creative, interpretive, critical and analytical skills.

Visual Communication MA

Aug 2015 - Jul 2017
  • Stockholm, Sweden
  • A very thorough and demanding education in illustration and graphic design with a focus on Norm Critique in Sweden’s most prestigious art university.

Linköping University

Aug 2011 - Jul 2012
  • Sweden
  • During this year abroad I learned more than during the rest of my career. It was a life lesson and an eye opener. I developed a passion for people, culture and languages. I explored a new approach to my profession and I was able to contribute with a foreign insight for my classmates and professors. The experience made me more confident and even more passionate about the field.

Selected Entreacto 2013

  • Selected to exhibit a project at one of Madrid's most prestigious nine art galleries. The project was based on an exploration of the creative process as storytelling.
