My role at this important online marketing company was to design websites, banners, newsletters, branding, etc. I was offered a long term position, but I had to refuse it when I was accepted for a six months Artist in Residence program in Sweden.
During the first summer of my Bachelor degree, I worked as an art gallery assistant, getting familiar with the art industry, and acquiring invaluable organisational skills.
At this important Spanish electric company, my role was to help to transcribe and represent data for the electricity encyclopaedia. This was a great chance to gain expertise with Microsoft Office tools and the first approach to design before being professionally prepared for it. Despite my young age (I was barely 16) I was celebrated as a hard worker and professional colleague.
This degree equipped me with creative, interpretive, critical and analytical skills.
A very thorough and demanding education in illustration and graphic design with a focus on Norm Critique in Sweden’s most prestigious art university.
During this year abroad I learned more than during the rest of my career. It was a life lesson and an eye opener. I developed a passion for people, culture and languages. I explored a new approach to my profession and I was able to contribute with a foreign insight for my classmates and professors. The experience made me more confident and even more passionate about the field.
Selected to exhibit a project at one of Madrid's most prestigious nine art galleries. The project was based on an exploration of the creative process as storytelling.
