  • • Client-side studio management for creative agency The Red Brick Road (TRBR) • Lead, manage and mentor a team of art workers and digital producers • Ensure brand equity is retained throughout various formats including digital and print • Provide art direction and management to an in-house print and digital production team within the creative department of the agency, reporting to the Creative Directors, Account Directors and Trafficking Managers • Effective time management to prioritise projects and manage resource across TRBR’s extensive client list • Managing campaigns from initial scamp stage through to final production, highlighting possible print/production problems through the design and artwork process and ensuring these are rectified before release • Responsible for the final release of artwork for print and digital hosting - along with QC • Supplying costs on a project-by-project basis, supplying clients with quotes and ensuring these are managed effectively • Ensure the cost for work reflects accurately on the required job – and if needed, to pre- warn the client any additional necessary funding before overspend arises • Liaise directly with media agencies for press insertion and out of home campaigns as well as managing production timings with Account Directors • Managing the design/artwork workflow for my team ensuring high quality work is achieved against tight deadlines and managing my clients expectations of what is and isn’t possible within the timeframes and budget supplied • To understand the clients business and needs, passing on knowledge to my team • Take pride in delivering a high-quality job/service, looking to exceed expectations at every opportunity.

  • • Work with the media agency to coordinate the relationship with Kodak Ltd. and their inkjet printer range with technical digital partners. eg CNET and IDG • Create and agree with key stakeholders, quarterly content plans and brief to ensure coverage for all key products, app and software announcements • Key approver for all content • Identify, pitch and implement new ideas to promote all consumer products through defined online channels, to drive broader and deeper consideration/preference • Create blog content and video assets to showcase new features, products and software (Tutorials, HowTo’s) • Share content and video assets on relevant online communities, blogs, forums • Monitor competitive activity, and associated categories within the define media, and identify new opportunities for Kodak • Assist in selection of new research/tech partners. Drive consideration, preference and recommendation for consumer products by creating and populating relevant technical content across key on-line channels. As the role developed there were requirements to interface with customers and partners on content and product related aspects be it at trade shows, online forums or at product launches.

  • • Liaise direct with UK marketing team, building design briefs and concepts to present back to the client. Leading and producing campaigns from start to finish, being the sole representative for Kodak Ltd., on behalf of Tag • Creating national consumer campaigns to work alongside TV advertising, in-store POS, print, digital and online media • Designing and liaising with exhibition stand contractors for Kodak’s European exhibitions e.g. Gadget Show, NEC and European print show Photokina • Design web templates for online retailers, complimenting and building on Kodak’s current advertising campaign • Working both on and off style guides, as well as the continuing work of developing Kodak’s new consumer identity alongside design agency Ogilvy • Daily usage of Adobe Creative suite 5.5 inc. Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Office packages. Initially an Artworker for Kodak Ltd and P&G cosmetics, I transferred to a remote studio away from the London HQ and within Kodak Ltd as their Designer. Working as part of a two-man operation, we were responsible for managing and implementing the UK design, working directly with the UK Marketing team across consumer and commercial projects.
