About me
Brand consultant, Mark Wilson is an experienced designer and art director Based in Glasgow. Mark is a traditional designer and storyteller in approach, with a passion for innovation and new ways of thinking. Over years of experience, he has developed a strong grasp of human centred solutions with a proven ability to connect brands to people and strongly believes the ultimate creative expression, is not in how something looks, but in creating response and engagement. Mark has an innate sensitivity to human behaviour, as well as an approachability that allows him to engage with people from all ends of the project, from stakeholders to end users.     SuperStreetwear and lifestyle brand Super is widely recognised throughout low culture fashion and street art. Monobloc were charged with bringing the brand to a new generation of high end hype customer. We created a distinct visual identity for Super that reinforces the brands existing raw sub-culture concept, as they expand their global reach. A Hammer horror-esque calligraphy aesthetic is applied to the logotype, combined with obvious parodies of existing cultural forces, to create a distinct id

    L'AutenticaWorking in collaboration with hospitality innovators Avdiasi & Co, Monobloc were briefed to develop brand identity and an environmental treatment for a Italian street food eatery. Inspired by the history of the company, we created a contemporary interpretation that would resonate with the brand’s traditional values of quality produce and provenance.     Sea.‘Sea. (Power.Motion.Movement.Origin)’ was a collaborative exhibition commissioned by Scottish Hydro. The exhibition consisted of a number of works from nature photographers alongside fine art photographers. The exhibition was a study of the power and motion of the sea to highlight the importance of preservation and the future of sustainable hydro energy.
