About me
I am a footwear designer with a background in product design. I have completed my MA in Fashion Footwear at London College of Fashion in 2012, having previously managed my own footwear brand. Because of my education and working experience I have developed a range of skills that allow me to be part of each stage of the design process, from research to prototyping. I have over 10 years of experience using CAD software, strong research and creative skill, excellent illustration and 3D modeling skills as well as good knowledge of footwear construction, experience in hand-making footwear and digital manufacturing. Recently I have been designing digital customised accessories and footwear. I am looking for an opportunity where I can use my creativity and passion for shoes.
Projects
- Second SkinThe ‘second skin’ project consists of 5 jewellery and body pieces. The concept behind the collection was inspired by various micro-biological forms - the final pieces will thus extend from the body skin for ornamental purposes in what I call a ‘second skin’. Each piece was designed to be digital customised, the customer can interact with the product on the Uformit website - reshaping, adding personal scan data and so on.
