About me
With a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, I have general knowledge of journalism and marketing. Having worked for the World Food Programme, I have experience editing articles, organizing meetings, translating essays and managing social media accounts. Working for the WFP also enhanced my communication skills, my problem-solving skills, my teamwork, and my attention to detail. I learned WFP’s internal procedures and processes fairly quickly and followed them correctly. As a writer, I have excellent grammar and punctuation. Having worked for the 2019 Panama Film Festival, I have experience assisting artists and managing social events. I am currently enrolled in an MA in Creative Writing where I am being trained in editorial tasks, copywriting, creative writing, editing, and publishing. I am fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and graduated from Florida State University with a 3.3 GPA. I have a WordPress blog where I post book reviews and I am a NetGalley Top Reviewer, where I get advanced copies of books in exchange of reviews for publishers. I have good communication skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce. My goal is to have a career in editing and publishing.
