Born, raised and educated in Wigan, Lancashire, home of Northern Soul and pies.
Studied Fine Art at Leeds, began my career working at Granada TV Manchester, before emigrating to the big smoke and grafting my way up to becoming a director.
With over 15 years’ experience working in commercials, documentaries, music videos and film/TV titles sequences I consistently show passion in my work, striving for aesthetic beauty and a strong cinematic style in everything I throw myself at. My aim is to get it right and do justice to the imagery that has influenced me over the years, whether that's waiting for the perfect light on location or coaxing the best out of a performance.
I've been fortunate enough to work with some of the most prestigious ad agencies, innovative creatives and iconic brands including Armani, Puma, Triumph and Volvo.
Also, I'm very proud of the thought-provoking films I have made for respected charities covering issues including drug addiction, AIDS and homelessness.

- SUZUKI Vitara - Global Campaign-Directors Cut 90sBriefed to created a series of films that celebrate the iconic Suzuki Vitara on a grande scale. With vitality in every frame, the films displays the new Hybrid SUV effortlessly cutting through city streets, crossing over panoramic vistas with verve, grace and breath-taking cinematography. It was a pleasure working the London Agency 'Noah' and the European crew in the epic cityscapes and landscape of Romania, chasing the Vitara, the weather and being chased by Bears. - Volvo XC90 - Drive The FutureWorking for Volvo China with Grey Agency in Shanghai and the Global team in the US , together we created several films for the Chinese market, shot in just 4 days, 2 different cars , a celebrity , 5 kids, myself and a crew of 80 at times, travelling from Shanghai to Beijing to Inner Mongolia and then to the final day in the city of Tianjin.
