My creative approach is always research- and user-centered: I ask questions, I listen and take notes, and I focus on understanding the issue and the audience’s needs. I then let whatever is discovered drive the design process.
For me, design is as much a social science as an applied art. It’s a method for transforming chaos into graceful alignment by making intentions clear and content emotionally resonant.
I am from San Francisco, California where I spent my childhood doing ballet, going to double features at the Castro and rollerskating in Golden Gate Park.
I am passionate about branding and systems, and have designed and managed projects and people for innovative companies in tech, publishing, food, entertainment and fashion in the U.S. and France.
I studied romance languages at UC Berkeley, printmaking at SF Art Institute and hold a B.S. in Graphic Design with honors from San Jose State University.

- MISHA & PUFF NEIGHBORHOOD COLORING PAPERA downloadable activity for children stuck indoors during Covid-19 quarantine. Illustration is inspired by drawings submitted by kids around the world—there are fun little details to color as well as open areas for welcoming additions: more houses, a playground, a favorite pet or a flower.
