About me

Hello, I am an information designer. Knowing how to make your point in a visually intriguing way is a rare and powerful skill. Having a visual to accompany your point can increase audience attention and retention by as much as 400%. You want someone like me on your side who knows how to get that attention and strives to create user delight. Studies also have consistently proved that user-focused design is a valuable investment. A good detailed design saves countless hours of development time. That said, no designer is an island. Great design often starts with a rough sketch but I also know that a crucial component for effective designing involves collaborating not only with developers but also with stakeholders and content providers. In addition, I fight cynicism and bad grammar on a daily basis and am guaranteed to have the strangest taste in music among any group.

  • Design new software products to help businesses create intuitive and compelling infographics. Questions I ask every day: - How to show data in ways that no one's thought of before? - How to display data in a way that sparks conversations? - Does this design work without a separate explanation? - Does this design show enough information? Too much? Company positioned as a Challenger in 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms: http://ow.ly/JzXXG
