Projects
- Albury Art GalleryTwo neighbouring heritage buildings in Albury were refurbished and bridged by a contemporary extension, creating more functional gallery space, storage, administration, circulation and grade A conditioning to the Albury Art Gallery. The project began with a masterplan for QEII Square, with the Art Gallery the catalyst of a rejuvenated cultural precinct. - UWS Sports and Leisure CentreUWS involved the refurbishment and rationalisation of two buildings through the addition of a glazed pavilion linking the two buildings as a nexus for campus activity. The project recreated the gymnasium, creating more space for a variety of classes and uses, and providing space for administration, amenities, and improved campus circulation. This project was carried through from concept design and development application to construction documentation, in a small team where I exercised administration and project management skills.
Work history
Architectural Assistant
As a senior architectural assistant, I am involved with several projects, particularly with planning applications to listed buildings as part of a masterplan for six key sites across Chelsea.
Teacher’s Assistant

As teacher's assistant to the Urban Design summer school in London, I escort 9 students around London and beyond (Bath, Stourhead, Oxford) to historic buildings and important sites, helping to explain the significance of each within the framework of urban design and historic context.

Education
Master of Arts in Historical and Sustainable Architecture

This one year Masters focussed on the opportunities presented by our vast stock of existing infrastructure.
Historic architecture and adaptive reuse was studied from diverse perspectives, including history, economics, architectural design, conservation, sustainable design, structural conservation, urban design and town planning, historical drawings, sketch design and precedent analysis.
Our classes were led by industry professionals, esteemed in their fields. The experience was well rounded and introduced me to the architecture industry in London, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Liverpool and New York.

Phoenix Prize for Valedictorian
As valedictorian of my course at NYU (Master of Arts in Historical and Sustainable Architecture) I received an unprecedented prize, named the Phoenix Prize.
