This involves drawing up architectural plans using AutoCAD, taking an active role in site visits and completing the appropriate paper work. Following a range of instructions and completing a variety of tasks efficiently. Site visits include interacting with clients whilst taking measurements that are then used to create floor plans and elevations. Constant feedback from superiors ensures that the quality of the drawings are constantly improving and the technical aspects of the buildings are betterunderstood. This has ensured a significant grasp of the AutoCAD software.
A month long placement at a small design agency in Islington to gain first hand experience of the industry. My role involved helping to adjust existing UX/UI designs according to client feedback and also creating and then presenting initial logo designs for a charity gaming company to the director and senior design team.
