Mathew has many years experience working in the film and television industry as an editor, director and producer. He’s worked with some of the UK’s finest talent including Terry Gilliam ('The Last Machine'), Michael Palin ('1001 Nights of TV'), Sienna Miller ('The Ride' and 'High Speed'), Helena Bonham Carter ('Me – A Video Diary') and Robbie Coltrane ('Coltrane’s Planes and Automobiles').
The huge number of television programmes he’s worked on include several with satirists Rory Bremner, John Bird and John Fortune as well as a 90 minute feature documentary celebrating the work of Elton John and Bernie Taupin ('Two Rooms') which reached dizzying heights - number 2 - in the United States Billboard charts.
Mathew has also worked on many arts and documentary programmes for the BBC, ITV, C4, Discovery and Channel 5. He has produced major corporate films for the likes of PricewaterhouseCoopers and British Gas. He is a longstanding member of BAFTA.
Mathew was until recently a director of Sparta Film Management Ltd., which managed a pipeline of films for the Sparta Film and TV Risk Managed EIS Fund (managed by Lacomp plc) and a director of Stratos Films Ltd.
Mathew is now looking for a lifestyle change and a role within an established company, to which he will be able to contribute many skills from his experience. He will be able to guide and advise, encourage creative solutions, avoid pitfalls and to help identify opportunities. He would be a real asset to the right company.
