With five years of professional agency experience, I am an ambitious and conscientious designer, with a strong focus on creating emotionally connective design.
I’m used to working in environments where I’ve been required to take full ownership of multiple projects, from concept to production. Starting my career in an aggressive market, I’ve been trusted with industry-leading accounts from the outset. This experience has enabled me to work across a diversity of projects, gaining organisational skills, and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
A conceptual thinker, I work to the fundamental principle that every creative decision must be well-researched, reasoned and containing a relevant message. I am acutely aware of the importance of effective communication both internal and externally, and have become adept at articulating the rationale and message behind my work.
As a member of a studio team, you can expect me to take a role of energising, motivating and engaging – having acquired leadership skills from a number of roles where I was responsible for leading and supporting designers. A natural problem-solver, I take an active role in idea generation and enjoy participating in brainstorming and collaboration.
When I’m not engaged in client work, I have a diverse interest in the field of design, and constantly explore new methods and techniques in communication. It is important to me, as a designer to keep my tools sharp, and my thinking relevant.
