21—87 is a collaborative design practice that engages with curators, editors and organisations to develop unique publications, spaces, and visual identities. The studio takes an inquisitive, research-led approach with a particular interest in the role of language and the written word.

Wayfinding & Environmental — Improvement of the visitor experience at Tate Modern, including wayfinding analysis and scheme design design for the Tate Modern Project. — The Tanks, a 15 week festival of events and exhibitions in the former oil tanks in the base of the building. — Wayfinding design for the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nantes, a collaboration with Stanton Williams Architects. — Interpretive graphics, publication design and exhibition planning for the Design Museum's Designs of the Year 2010. — Interpretive graphics for the V&A Ceramics Galleries, a collaboration with Stanton Williams architects. Editorial — Marketing materials for property developers Derwent London, including a specially-commissioned book to mark the 25th anniversary of the company. — Monograph for Sergison Bates architects, working closely with Jonathan Sergison, Stephen Bates, and photographer David Grandorge
