Work history

Virgin Media Student Brand Ambassador

Virgin Media

May 2015
  • I have been chosen to be a representative of the Virgin Media brand because of my experience in sales and brand management. It is my job role to promote and extend the Virgin Media brand within my campus however I deem effective and I am paid purely based on commission of getting students to sign their new Virgin Media contract.

Door-to-door Salesman, Abel and Cole

Benchmark Advertising

Nov 2014 - Mar 2015
  • I applied for a job at Benchmark Advertising, which certainly alluded to the fact that they are purely a door-to-door sales team. I became a full-time member of the team, working Monday to Saturday every week with highly intensive that always included roughly two hours of sales training, a lot of travel time and a schedule developed by my team leader and myself (I was one of two others in his team and the other was his girlfriend) who worked very closely together to represent ourselves in conjunction with the various other teams in the office.

Care Assistant

Northfield House

Dec 2012 - Jul 2013
  • My first salary based job was working for old people with dementia, ensuring that they maintained decency and quality of life that could be expected by anyone. This job role is extremely meaningful to me and I feel the implicit attributes that I gleaned from this will be reflected in any future profession I fiind myself in. I am certainly a wiser and fundamentally more emotionally intelligent person, however I have learned the hard way how important it is to manage your time, work closely and professionally with your colleagues and most of all simply retain a strong work ethic from the start of your shift to the end.

Philosophy Ethics, English Literature, Theatre Studies and Media Studies

Marling and High School Sixth Form

Aug 2010 - May 2012

    Golden Brick Award

    • I was commissioned the task of developing a strategy in which I was to appropriate the best way to market surplus bricks of building sites. My research showed me the significance of the various hues that bricks have, which inspired me to promote the idea of rubbing these different hues together and creating beautiful pieces of art with the blended dust. Out of my entire year group of over a hundred people I won the prize for the overall best presentation and was thoroughly motivated to deliver very strong and impressive presentations from then on, feeling it may be a forte of mine.
