About me
I am a musician, writer, video producer and editor and English Literature graduate with a first class degree. To gain a commercial sense of the creative industries, I am undertaking a professional qualification in Marketing. I am brimming with imaginative ideas and verve. I am a self-starter and have been given responsibility when it comes to projects, having produced a large portfolio of writing, music and video.

Suited to writing work, I received exceptionally high marks in modules on modern language, contemporary poetry, and higher marks for creative writing of my own.
I am mature enough and have the organisational and presentational skills to demonstrate that the time is right for me to work for a world class media organisation. For my final modules I received some of the highest marks in my year, helping to deliver my first class mark. Fundamentally, my degree taught me three things: to research; to write essays in a style which is precise; and, most importantly, to be ambitious with what I am able to learn, and ambitious with what standard my work can get to. Along with instilling within me the dream of being one day a published poet, the degree has made me into an enthusiastic writer and reader.
What with my having produced a creative writing dissertation, I hold extensive experience researching, producing theses and arguments about original work and structuring poetry and prose. I am also well suited to writing engaging copy and precise instructions, offering a strong understanding of grammar and attention to detail. The English department at Reading is highly regarded, and the University is classed amongst the top 1% of Universities in the world.
