I am the Director of ITV Creative & Events and lead the multi-award winning creative and events agency based within the UK's biggest commercial broadcaster ITV. With over 20 years’ experience in broadcast media, I thrive in a fast paced environment and have strong team and project management skills. I have integrated digital campaign thinking and production into the traditional agency environment and have successfully restructured the ITV Creative, CITV and ITV Events teams' to deliver an award winning service for ITV and our advertisers, winning Event Team of the Year in October 2015 and 2 D&AD Pencils in 2016 for ITV Creative. I have rebranded some of the UK’s biggest TV channels and launched three of the most talked about, Sky Atlantic, ITV Encore and ITVBe. I am Chair of ITV Pride, ITV's LGBT network and have been appointed London Chair for the Company-wide OneITV Ambassador cultural change programme that launched in 2015.
I am responsible for delivering campaigns to fill over £270 million pounds of promotional airtime on ITV channels and services. I lead the integrated direction and vision for ITV Creative (including CITV) and ITV Events across all functions; creative, production, design, print, digital, social, experiential, channel continuity and key events right across ITV. I am London Chair for the OneITV Ambassador programme, leading an internal network of ITV colleagues to improve communication and process across the business. I am Chair of ITV Pride, ITV's LGBT network.
Responsible for setting the future direction and vision for ITV Creative across all functions (creative, production, design, print, digital, social and continuity), to ensure the most efficient and effective delivery of integrated marketing assets to drive programme and brand engagement for the ITV family of channels and platforms.
Led the creative output for all 360 priority campaigns and brand identity for the Sky Entertainment Network - Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Atlantic, Sky Movies & MGM, Sky Arts and Sky 3D.
Reviewed the Continuity and Navigation function within the ITV Network and made recommendations to improve the process and deliver efficiencies across the team.
To provide creative direction, strategic thinking and leadership for the creative teams working across Sky's portfolio of Entertainment Channels (Sky1, Sky Living, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts, Sky Movies, Challenge and PickTV). Responsible for channel identities, priority campaigns for all platforms (TV, Radio, Digital and Print).
Responsible for the creative output of the UKTV thematic channels (Watch, GOLD, Dave, Alibi, Eden, Blighty, Yesterday, Home, Really and Good Food) across all media platforms and was instrumental in the development and implementation of what was widely believed to be the most ambitious rebrand in British broadcasting history – 10 channels in 19 months.
Led a team of 12 creative and production staff in a self-op editing environment, driving forward major promotional projects for BBC ONE.
Delivered priority campaigns for BBC channels in the United Kingdom and around the world via International channels and services.
Delivered priority campaigns for the ITV regions Carlton and Central.
Worked alongside Producers and Creatives to create brand experiences for STAR Plus channel in Asia, eventually graduating to create my own campaigns.
Reporter for Radio 3's daily afternoon programme 'DriveTime'. Covered features leading up to the Hong Kong handover in 1997. I was also a Newsreader for RTHK News.
