- Can't Win. Don't TryCWDT is a small group of like minded people who all believe in the democratisation of the art industry. For the past two years we have put on 6 exhibitions, showcasing artists from a range of disciplines and backgrounds, giving them an opportunity to stand out. Our shows take place in slightly un orthodox settings, that being night clubs as opposed to gallery spaces. There is also a full roster of DJs throughout the night, creating a truely unique experiene.

All of the sessions take place in the same location, a beautiful garden in London, and all are aspiring artists looking to further their career. I am currently the Studio Technician and Equipment Manager at Park Village Studios in Camden - a high-end photography and filming studio, event space and production company in Camden. I am responsible for the upkeep and management of the studio, as well as the coordination of all shoots and clients in the studio. This ranges from photography and motion shoots with large crews, weddings, private parties and awards ceremonies. I am also responsible for all equipment hires which included inventory management of our large kit stores, liaising with suppliers for the best deals, and making sure equipment quotes are accurately picked and packed for clients.

I am currently the Floor Manager at Loft Studios, one of London’s foremost high end photography studios. I am responsible for coordinating a team of studio assistants, the studio’s in-house equipment rental department, and cleaning staff, as well as facilitating catering for clients from the professional kitchen.
My day to day duties include running the floor during the day’s shoots including liaising with clients, producers and high-end talent. I am also completing stock checks, inventory and ordering for all studio consumables, housekeeping and maintenance products, as well as taking on general studio maintenance, repairs and deep cleaning myself and coordinating contractors for more serious repairs.
