I’m a CEO, entrepreneur, marketer, writer, pilot, wine enthusiast and geek. But not necessarily in that order.
I studied history at Pembroke College, Oxford before starting Intelligent Games, a computer games company. I sold it ten years later, in 2000. I started writing for magazines including Wired, Popular Science and Director.
The writing bug led me to Articulate Marketing, where I am currently CEO. I also launched Turbine, an online app that simplifies routine business paperwork such as purchase orders.
I started flying in 1999 and I have an EASA private pilot licence and an FAA commercial licence with about 800 hours in my logbook. I passed my WSET Wine and Spirits Diploma in 2019 and, in my spare time, I blog about wine, aviation and management. On a molecular level, I’m mostly red wine and pizza.
