About me
I'm Max D'Orsogna — a London based photographer specialising in documentary, editorial and art-directed studio imagery. As well as long form-projects and advertising work for the likes of H&M, Adidas and others, I undertake a variety of commissioned assignments for clients such as The Wire Magazine, Universal Music, Adidas, Culture Trip and Porsche (Type7). Max Joseph D'Orsogna (HE/HIM, b. Melbourne, 1989) is an Australian-Italian diaspora photographer now based in London, UK whose photographs seek to examine dynamics of truth, power and the ethics of representation. Staged scenarios collide with a quotidian vernacular across his work, resulting in absurdist hybrid-narratives that cast fact and fiction as protagonists locked in an unresolvable atomic tango.
