I am a well-organised, enthusiastic and creative individual with excellent writing skills and a proven research and analysis capability. I am able to assimilate information from multiple sources and highlighting trends and inter-relationships to render complex subject manner digestible. I am now seeking to move into a communications role which combines my qualitative research skills with my journalistic background. I am currently employed as a Corporate Development Analyst at Bird & Bird LLP; a top 20 UK law firm with a presence in 19 countries worldwide. I have been at Bird & Bird since July 2012. Whilst here my ultimate aim has been to enable the geographical expansion of the business, which has given me a good grounding in working across borders and all that that entails. My primary duty within this capacity has been to provide high quality research, usually to strict deadlines, that helps to inform decision making and the wider strategy of the business.
At Bird & Bird I rapidly became an integral and vital part of the Corporate Development team, assisting firm management in making important decisions. My time at the firm has given me a good grounding in what it means to work in a traditional yet fast-moving industry, producing analysis that serves a point and is able to both inform and influence. I am capable of working as a member of a team which encompasses numerous cultures and am sensitive to the different personal approaches that are required to succeed in a professional services provider.
Worked as a member of a highly-specialised market research team within the world’s foremost publisher of scientific research.
