The UK EY alumni programme supports ongoing engagement and relationship development with all former EY employees through alumni communications, targeted initiatives and exclusive events. The programme's objective is to maintain and strengthen connections with more than 12,000 EY alumni in the UK & Ireland after they leave the organization, my main duties include:
• Managing, planning and delivery of the annual alumni reception and annual retired partner’s lunch. Responsible for the restructured marketing strategy of both events to ensure the business is benefitted by these initiatives in order to gain business acumen.
• Creating and sending out email marketing campaigns to a mass audience whilst also tracking open rates, responses and making sure the process follows the firm’s best practice.
• Manage the programmes Twitter platform – sending out daily tweets to gain exposure for the programme and source valuable content to post. Also responsible for sending out alumni related tweets from the partner sponsors Twitter account.
• Worked on the programmes biggest global campaign (Global Alumni Week), which aims to celebrate the firm’s alumni. Leading up to the campaign I was involved in working with external creative agencies to produce marketing material such as posters, Twitter cards and short videos
• Sending out large communications firm wide to partners, directors & senior managers as part of wider marketing campaigns.
• Assist in the process of carrying out high profile interviews for the programmes online magazine (Alumni connect)
• Copywriting for the EY Alumni newsletter, which is sent to 1500 people externally
