I’m an illustrator based in Winchester, Hampshire with a keen interest in the natural world and the environment.
I have been creative my whole life, drawing since I was really young and following in the footsteps of my grandparents who were also artists. I have always been inspired by nature, I collect the majority of my inspiration from my local woodland as well as out on walks and bike rides to watching the birds out of my window.
I graduated from the University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art studying Illustration at the height of the pandemic in 2020, from there I discovered my love for exploring narrative and folklore within my illustrations through my Final Major Project The Fables of Aesop. I began experimenting more with my creative process, having primarily used pen and ink to create the majority of my work since 2015, I began using Ampersand Clayboard in my final year of University which allowed me to add further detail to my work through carving and has opened up a whole new process into the way I create my illustrations which I am still exploring.
