Currently, a third year Fine Art student who will be graduating in the summer. Keen lover of the arts and am looking for a creative based internship for the year. As an artist, I am independent and self-motivated, thus a hardworking individual. My art involves a wide range of techniques, such as hand making and constructing shaped canvas, acrylic painting, using the laser cutter, vacuum forming and drawing.
Projects
- Degree ShowIn the process of planning my degree show exhibtion, I am focusing upon the tradition of painting and turning it on its head. Much of my work is influenced by High Modernist or Minimalist painters, particularly the materials they use. Thus, in my practice I aim to evoke a sublte reference to these painters and movements, however transform them into the contemporary realm, and further challenge the progression of painting and how far it can be pushed.
