Working in an administrative role at Capita has taught me the importance of working quickly but with a welcoming smile upon my face. I am often dealing with clients and fellow employees whilst answering the telephone to the public. My main duties consist of redirecting calls, scanning, filing, sorting post and other general administrative tasks.
I worked alongside the senior designer to redesign Network Locum’s (an online platform for Locum GPs to find work) website. I was also in charge of designing all the icons and illustrations for the website along with flyers and other printed ephemera.
Answering the telephone and redirecting calls. Arranging interviews and liaising with interviewees. Scanning, printing, filing and general administrative tasks.
Making and serving hot drinks, meals etc. Taking payments, cleaning, general customer service tasks and answering the telephone.
Working in a busy office environment with various people; designers, developers and clients to produce digital design work.
Collecting creative content for the social media platforms. Conducting interviews with local businesses and writing up reviews in order for them to be featured on the Goa.me website and Facebook page.
