About me
My name is Milly Hannington and I am looking for a new exciting role. I am very experienced in project planning events having been heavily involved in the music side of organising I have been a band manager for the past five years. During this time I have handled the complete lifecycle of event management from sourcing clients, negotiating contracts, securing subcontractors, design and set up of venues, financial control, promotion / communications and media management (including live sound and video recording).
I have worked with companies such as Google, The Film Distribution Agency, Net-suite and many more. I have delivered events in venues ranging from pubs, clubs and hotels, right through to popular landmarks such as Somerset House.
My role has also included the welfare of many performers, providing them with a high level of motivation and making sure they are paid, their transport is taken care of and preparing their contracts. I have also had close involvement with the venues themselves, making sure, amongst other things, that they are licensed to have live music, checking the noise limit regulations and liaising with the catering team and other staff to ensure that everyone is aware of timings throughout. I have also been hired by these companies myself to sing at their events.
I am a professionally trained actress, singer and dancer, securing a Performing Arts qualification from Italia Conti. I was also employed by Disneyland Paris so have an acute appreciation of the fact that everyone taking part plays a role in the success of the event.
I strongly believe that I can provide and events team with support and development, utilising my motivational and organisational skills within a company.
