Teaching Screen Printing to children from the ages 7-15 years old. Using a four colour rotary press, and table top t-shirt presses.
During my time at The Chesil Rectory (an Historic, fine dining restaurant in Winchester), I worked as a Front of House Waitress. I waited tables, prepared food and drinks, handled cash and used tills. I was required to memorize the detailed food crib sheet, as well as having knowledge of all wines offered. Customer Service was paramount.
I interned in London for just under two months whilst at university, with a screen-printing company that had studio space and also sold the artists work online for them. During my time in this internship I was given experience within the studios: printing, assisting Studio Manager, tutors and technicians, supporting printers, studio maintenance, etc. I assisted within the gallery and managed stock and supplies. I was also shown and taught about the business management of this company.
This role included teaching various arts and crafts to the children; including screen printing, tie-dyeing, sewing and crafts. I had the responsibility of being a counsellor to 14-15 year old girls; supervising and helping entertain the girls, as well as caring for their physical and mental well-being.
As camp photographer, I was tasked with capturing and cataloging all the children’s activities during their stay at camp. This included editing and creating slideshows for the children to view at the end of every session. My other role was supervising children ranging from ages 6-16 for their entire duration of stay at the camp. My responsibilities included providing a safe and caring environment for them to thrive in.
