I am a creative arts marketing and communications professional with over three years experience working in arts marketing, music promotion and events management. I am a hands-on, creative and open-minded individual with a genuine passion for organisations invested in creating opportunities for young artists and providing rich cultural experiences for audiences. I am a huge consumer of arts and culture with a love for music, visual arts and design, pursuing my passion through songwriting and performance and attending events and exhibitions throughout London.
Bow Arts is an arts education charity that provides creative workspace for artists, an education programme and an art gallery. Working crossdepartmentally, I am responsible for building Bow Arts’ brand and reputation and developing audiences through online and offline marketing; content management; media relations and internal and external communications. Freelance events promoter running a monthly LGBT live music and arts event at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. I was responsible for the organisation and marketing of this event and was the point of contact for artist liaison and customer wellbeing. This included: ? Working as a freelance band manager, I was responsible for developing the band’s brand and reputation; audience development; social media content management; events marketing; organisation of tours and events; developing relationships with blogs, venues and industry; securing radio and video distribution and producing and selling merchandise.
