About me
I am a Website Executive living in Hackney, London. Originally from America, I moved over to England at the age of 18 to study. From there I have taken a digital route, where in my current role I manage the website, creation of content and imagery, optimization, day-to-day enhancements, long term website projects, wire-frame creations and offsite website agency management. I also manage the Email marketing campaigns working with our content editor to create email marketing campaigns for our various events and awards. I finally am the technical moderator for our webinars in which we run four monthly. I like to class myself as the go-to girl for any digital production needs. Aside from that in my spare time, I am a freelance writer contributing to various online lifestyle publications.

  • London's Largest Bakesale
London's Largest BakesaleMarch 8 2014, or International Women’s Day, I organised London’s Largest Bake Sale with all proceeds going to Refuge Charity. At the end of the day we raised a whopping £1500.00. The idea behind it was to have various famous bakeries in and around London donate their baked goods and people would buy the cake feeling good about putting a bit of additional sugar and fat in their bodies. Some of the bakeries I got on board included Rita’s, Lola’s cupcakes, E5 Bakehouse, Meringue Girls, The Yummy Yank, Bad Brownie, Kookie Bakes, Pearl and Groove and many more. I arranged DJs to play on the day and a special ‘pink cocktail’ served where proceeds also went to charity. It was hosted at the Old Queen’s head on Essex road. As well as this, I designed and printed flyers, had press releases created and sent out and was featured in various press including Emerald Street (seen above), and had a huge following on social media (see Nigella Lawson’s tweet). It really was a great success for a wonderful cause.
