About me

 

Michael Vince Kim is an American-born Korean photographer whose work focuses on personal stories of migration, language, and identity. He was raised in Argentina where he studied Film Directing, and subsequently pursued a degree in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. In 2015, his ongoing project on the Koreans of Kazakhstan won Magnum’s ‘30 Under 30’ award, and he was subsequently nominated for the Joop Swart Masterclass organised by World Press Photo..
