As an assistant production coordinator my role required a focused level of balance and initiative. The position involved overseeing all level of productions, whether they were low or high budget, and being a figurehead that is always available and approachable. Similarly it involved being a part of all levels of production from the initial leasing with clients to post production alongside the editing team and producers to achieve a film that both the client and we as a team could be proud of. I had the pleasure to work on global projects with each being unique and versatile for their audience, projects such as Watchshop, Moonpig, Universal Studios and Hungry House.
Most recently I have been working at BBC Radio Wales as a Broadcast Administrator and as First Assistant to Producer. My role demanded a lot of versatility and flexibility, whether it would involve me contributing creatively, extensively researching and developing topical news stories, booking and scheduling guests and equipment or spearheading the required administrative paperwork. This experience was a keen insight into the development and team work needed for live broadcasts. I had the pleasure to work on such shows as, 'The Eleri Sion Show', Owen Money's 'Money for Nothing' and Rhod Gilbert's popular weekend chat show.
