Hello! I have just graduated from Nottingham Trent University with an upper second class honours in BA (Hons) Fashion Management. My experience is mainly in Fashion PR, having completed a 12 month work placement as a PR Assistant, as well as two internships prior to this, one which was based in New York for 2 months. I am now looking to further develop my experience in the fashion industry, whether that is through marketing, styling, social media communications, or event management- I am open to all options! I am a super fun and bubbly girl to work with, easy-going but hard working and stubborn when I need to be- I also make a cracking cup of tea and can never say no to an Aperol Spritz or two.

The PR Assistant role was comprised of a very small team of two- myself, and the Head of PR. We also worked very closely with the Long Tall Sally account executives in the US and Germany, having weekly conference calls to discuss any upcoming campaigns, brainstorm new ideas, and check in on sample availability. The scope of the role was to support the in-house team to gain coverage in print and online media, as well as on social media platforms.
Responsibilities included, but were not limited to:
• Press Enquiries - Be responsive and reactive to press queries to increase brand conversation in the media
• Press Events - Aid the Head of PR and Marketing team in the production and management of press launches and events
• PR Shots - Responsible for uploading brand imagery, interactive look-books, campaign filming and press releases
• Sample Management - Liaise with US & DE PR Agencies as well as journalists to organise send outs and track sample returns
• Best of Press - Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage to track brands media position
• Social Media Content- I would often assist the Head of Social Media through brainstorming content ideas, as well as writing posts for the Long Tall Sally blog, ‘Tall Stories’.

• The 8-week internship included New York Fashion Week and my main responsibilities were putting guest lists onto the Fashion GPS system, and working Front of House or Backstage at shows.

• Daily tasks included sample management, magazine clippings, and making press hits on Fashion GPS
