I am an award-winning editor of Jazzwise Magazine and a music journalist of 18 years’ experience and a professional bass guitarist based in London. Previous experience includes being a judge on the prestigious Mercury Music Prize for eight years, 2008-2015, as well as being the jazz editor at Time Out magazine in London for five years and a freelance writer for Bass Guitar Magazine, Jazzwise, London Evening Standard and other publications.

- Co-Produced Ronnie Scott's At 50 for TBI MediaI scripted and co-produced an award-winning 90-minute BBC Radio 2 documentary on Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club as it celebrated its 50th anniversary - it was voiced by Jamie Cullum and featured a number of high-profile musicians including Courtney Pine, Sonny Rollins and Flora Purim

- Time Out LondonOver my 6yr tenure I was responsible for managing, mentoring, growning and developing the entire art department staff (the design team, photo-studio and picture desk) overeeing department running costs and budget. I looked after every aspect of the weekly publication, producing over 300 weekly covers and a number of re-designs.

I am the editor of the UK's biggest selling jazz monthly, which is also Europe's leading English language jazz publication - I work across all aspects of editorial and commission all the content in the magazine. I still write reviews and the occasional feature, but spend a lot of time forward planning and conceptiualising new feature ideas as well as developing digital strategies to take the brand into the future.
