Core modules included:
User centred design principles, task analysis, requirements engineering, usability evaluation, eye tracking, advanced principles of HCI, inclusive design, systems specification and UML.
I won the best dissertation of my year. My dissertation was an analysis of verbal protocols. My study was on the effectiveness of conducting a concurrent verbal protocol (or think-aloud), and the added impact on the retrospective verbal protocol cued by video and aided by eye gaze data.
This study afforded me the opportunity to conduct a thorough evaluation of 2 of the Nature Publishing Group's sites, as well as to work with eye-tracking technology and the usability evaluation software Morae.
